76th U. S. Army Band Photo Album
From January 1964 through September 1965 I was assigned to the 76th U. S. Army Band based out of Orleans, France. This period included the 20th Anniversary celebration of the liberation of many towns from the Nazis during World War II. We played a lot of commemorative ceremonies and the people treated us extremely well.
We could not carry 35mm cameras during the parades and concerts but I did have a Minox B (8 mm) and the black and white images on these pages were taken with that camera.
